Gregg and Sue Sorbets are 25 year residents of Hawaii's Big  Island and have a passion for its art, native flora and fauna, unique culture, and its people -- both residents and visitors.  Together, they operate Ironwood Picture Framing in Kamuela to bring a little more beauty to the Island.

Gregg has enjoyed a well-regarded reputation as an expert finish carpenter honed over 31 years, and thanks to his upbringing in an artistic family, he developed a great eye for detail which pairs well with his strive for perfection and his appreciation for your need to perfectly frame and present an artist's work or showcase a special piece of memorabilia.

Gregg acquired the Ironwood Picture Framing enterprise because it feeds and sates his artistic side, aids the community and its visitors with an in-demand service, and is the perfect venue to produce his unique Koa wood paddles, surfboards, shadow boxes and more.

Sue assists in management and sales, and is a respected Real Estate Agent.  Thanks to her expertise in assisting clients and the community to find the perfect homes and commercial spaces, and her familiarity with the best displayed homes, offices and public spaces, lends an eye trained in design, staging and presentation.

Gregg originally hails from Oregon and Sue from Colorado, and together Sue and Gregg have made the Big Island their home.
